EN 511 Schutzhandschuhe gegen Kälte 


Diese Norm legt die Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für Handschuhe fest, die bis zu -50 Grad Celsius gegen Kälte schützen. Diese Kälte kann klimatisch bedingt sein oder durch eine industrielle Tätigkeit entstehen

a) Konvektionskältefestigkeit (Leistungsebene 0 - 4)
Bedeutet die thermischen Isolationseigenschaften, die durch eine Konvektionsübertragung von Kälte gemessen werden.
b) Kontaktkältefestigkeit (Leistungsebene 0 - 4) 
Meint die thermische Festigkeit des Handschuhmaterials im direkten Kontakt mit einem kalten Gegenstand.
c) Wasserfestigkeit (0 oder 1)
0 = Wasserpenetration nach 30 Belastungsminuten, 
1 = keine Wasserpenetration.
